ABOUT OUR DONUTS

 

 We take donuts seriously! At Halo, all our donuts are handcrafted daily with premium ingredients and lots of love! We’ve got tasty classics like The Homer, Boston Cream and vanilla glazed. But we always keep it fresh with new flavours depending on the season and the crazy ideas running in our heads. Whether you prefer our soft, fluffy raised donuts or our denser, sweeter cake donuts, we know you’ll fall in love at first bite! 

 

RAISED DONUTS

We make these with dough that rises and expands like bread. They’re yeast-based, so they’re light and fluffy with a bread-like texture. We like to top them off with our flavoured icings made from scratch, plus sprinkles, sugar, or more decadent toppings like brownies or house-made crumbles.

Our filled donuts (think Boston Cream, lemon, or coconut cream) are also part of our raised donut fam!

CAKE DONUTS

These little beauties are made with real cake batter, rolled up and put directly into the deep fryer. It’s an old-fashioned style of donut that will bring you straight back to the good ol’ days. They have a sweet, dense, cake texture – perfect for dipping in your morning coffee (or literally any time of the day)! A lot of our cake donuts are classics (think cinnamon sugar, toasted coconut or sour cream) but we like to keep it fresh with some creative flavours too!

  • Homer

    A classic! Our Homer is a raised donut (or should we say, “D’oh-nut”) topped with real vanilla icing and rainbow sprinkles.

  • Birthday Cake

    Make every day as special as your birthday! This raised donut is topped with vanilla icing and a homemade birthday cake crumble.

  • Chocolate Dip

    A classic for all you chocolate lovers out there. We make our chocolate icing with premium chocolate and real vanilla, and top it off with rainbow sprinkles.

  • Walnut Crunch

    Our cake-style chocolate donut filled with toasted walnuts gives you a tasty crunch with every bite. If you like brownies, you’ll love this donut!

  • Maple Bar

    Not your average maple donut! We use real, local maple syrup for our deliciously sweet and sticky homemade maple icing.

  • Lemon Filled

    Don’t judge a donut by its cover! This crispy and sugar crusted exterior is filled with our classic lemon filling.

  • Boston Cream

    There’s a big fan club for this classic. Our Boston Cream is filled with a rich pastry cream and topped with chocolate icing made from scratch.
